What we collect

Through this website we collect only what you send us:

• Staffing enquiries: company, contact name, email, telephone, business type, roles needed, start date and any message.
• Candidate registrations: name, email, telephone, role applied for, experience, areas available, availability date, right-to-work answer and any message.
• CV and supporting files you choose to attach. Attaching them is optional.
• The IP address the submission came from, recorded to help identify spam.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to respond to your staffing request, and candidate information to assess suitability for assignments and to contact you about work. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Our lawful basis

We process enquiry information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and candidate information on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a staffing service, together with your consent where you have given it.

Who can see it

Submissions are stored in this website and are visible only to authorised Crust Empire staff who are signed in.

CV and supporting files are stored outside the public area of the website and cannot be downloaded without signing in. We do not share candidate documents with clients automatically — see the Candidate Privacy Notice.

How long we keep it

We keep candidate information for as long as you may reasonably want to be considered for assignments, and enquiry information for as long as we need it to handle the enquiry and keep our records. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. Contact info@crust-empire.co.uk and we will respond. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Security

Uploaded files are stored with unguessable filenames in a directory that is not reachable over the web, and are served only to signed-in staff. Access to the website dashboard is restricted to authorised accounts.
